Let me start off by saying I am not by nature into romantic novels. Knowing this up front, the story clicks with anyone who has had to face adversity in their life and find themselves a bit embarrassed to share some of their past, for fear of what others will think of them. The character Bob

by in this storyline meets a young lady by happenstance (as what makes all the stories out there enticing to read). They embark on a journey which starts purely by accident and flourishes among weeds/thistles at times. The story shows how people can grow, even when they feel there are secrets about themselves they are not willing to share. Let's not forget issues with being accepted by those who are in their lives as well. The author does a good job with the structure of the novel. It flows smoothly and has good transitions throughout the piece. I was kept interested in the progression of the novel. If you are looking for something light and feel-good, this novel is for you.
