Origin Andromeda: The Beginning, a Science Fiction Adventure (Origin Series, book 1)

Welcome aboard the Eclipse. I enjoyed the interaction of Bjorn, Henrik, Sophie, and Joanna.

The author does a good job creating these characters and the futuristic aspect of the sci/fi genre. The conflict begins with a saboteur of the ship who throws a wrench in allowing the characters to properly use the vessel while in space while the life-sustaining system is about to go down permanently. I feel a little "The Black Hole" novel from the 80's vibe going on with this piece. I like the cover of the story and the overall plot. I wanted a little more charismatic dialogue with the characters to build a more personal relationship with them because they are very dynamic in nature. Creating a sci/fi piece is tricky and the author does a pretty good job in designing this piece. Overall it is a good read if you are a junky for sci/fi because it does have laces of 80's/90's flavor going on throughout.
