It might seem like basic stuff, but with so many facets to the internet, websites, companies, etc. it is very hard to keep my head wrapped around ways to save money. This book starts off strong and right off the bat I'm hooked. Google is my preferred research tool aside from Firefox, but I've never used the "shopping" link before or considered it. The book uses excellent pictures to showcase how to access and maneuver through all suggestions on the pages for saving. I've never heard of CamelCamelCamel, but have now! There are suggested websites which are active links you can click on and search around with. I'm so geeking out about this. I haven't told my girlfriend yet, because it would probably create a black hole of shopping from which we may not come back... Anyway, I was familiar with a few of the items suggested like Honey, Retailmenot, Coupons.com, CapitalOne, etc. however I use a couple of them on my windows browser. They do make a difference. I am overly impressed with the book and its suggestions on money saving. It gives guidelines on how to change spending habits in order to save money without giving up some of the finer ways we enjoy to engage in day to day pleasures. It even covers healthcare and how to save on medication. You bet I will! Recommend highly to anyone who shops for anything without price comparing. This may take a little extra time, but time is money and saving helps a ton.
