I'm a big football spectator and Miami Dolphin Fan! I appreciated the Marino reference to the Fins. Overall, this book helped take me back to the 80's and 90's when I was a kid to teen watching some of the greats work on the field. Of course, I was too young to really realize some of the politics of the game which was going on at that time. I barely remember the strikes, but did understand the aftermath of them with changes in rules, players, and criteria of the game. Overall it was a fun read. It has some writing issues, but I'm able to ignore those little things for the broader aspect of the novel.
